Social Change through Social Media

We have now embarked on an exploration of how social change is conducted and achieved through social media networks and websites online.

Each of you have an extensive list of sites to visit to get your reserach started.

Here are some new sites which are informative and focused on a speecific aspect of social change, which I have learned about through some of the brilliant minds in our class.

GAMERS HEART JAPAN.

More interesting social change websites to come!

Please feel free to post any new online content related to social change in the comments section. This will be a big help to our class and to our general knowledge of social issues and digital culture.

Gadgets and Dialogue

By now, all of the students in the EMS3O1 media class should have their blogs up and changing the internet for the better.  They should also have lists which link to each others blogs.

This was done in the gadget section of the design menu, of the Blogger webpage.  Good for you students!

The purpose for these lists is so that you can find each others blogs and start communicating with each other through posts and comments.

Let's start communicating.  Here's  a question:

SINCE THE QUAD IS COMING TO AN END, LOOK BACK AND ASK YOURSELF -

'HAVE I REACHED THE GOALS THAT I SET FOR MYSELF AT THE BEGINNING OF THE QUAD?'
